Presence Detection
SOTA Vision system can be used to detect presence of all necessary parts. An image of the correct assembly is preloaded and used as reference. In addition, the system can check for alignment of specific parts.

Defect Detection
SOTA Vision system can be used to detect various kinds of defects including: holes, blobs, scratches, fading, color variances, stains, pattern changes, etc. These set-ups are virtually unlimited in width they can cover, as multiple cameras can work synchronously to provide 100% coverage.

Part Counting
SOTA Vision system can be programmed to count parts, even if they are not always aligned in the same way.

Character Recognition
SOTA Vision systems have OCR tools that can be used to read standard characters, 1-D and 2-D barcodes.
These tools work great in sorting applications, when serial number tracking is required, or any other applications where Character Recognition is important.

Guided Robots
SOTA Vision system can be used to improve functionality of an existing robot application by providing position guidance of the robot arm or an actual part. Also, we are capable of building a complete Vision Guided Robot system according to customer’s needs.

Part Aligment
SOTA Vision system can be used to help align a part before it is placed into assembly. There is a specific tool set, including part recognition and angle measurement that helps a robot to perfectly align a part.

Part Measurement
SOTA Vision system can be used to measure a number of dimensions on a specific part. The system will recognize a part even if it is positioned differently, then it will acquire all necessary measurements including length, width, diameter, angle, radius, etc. All this happens in a fraction of a second!
